Ninety percont of our work is within the Corazon de Trinidad National Historic District in Trinidad Colorado. We specialize in historic buildings because they represent an era of fine classical design, excellent craftsmanship, and traditional values. We apply these values to both our engineering work and our business practices.

We provide building inspections and reports for owners and prospective buyers and their lenders.

For owners who are rehabilitating their buildings we provide consulting engineering services, analysis and solutions to complex problems, and design for rehabilitation projects.

William Barns P.E. has been a registered professional engineer in Colorado since 1972 and has won numerous awards for his preservation work throughout the Colorado Front Range. He has worked in Trinidad since 1995. He began his career as a Design Engineer in Livorno Italy from 1963 to 1970. He was the Director of Engineering and Construction at the United States Air Force Academy from 1980 through 1992 and has worked for two national level architectural firms. He also works and studies state of the art preservation and structure rehabilitation techniques in Lucca Italy and is writing a book on the Italian Mediterranean Style.

The White Company' s primary objective is to facilitate and participate in the rehabilitation of the buildings and infrastructure with emphasis on the Corazon de Trinidad National Historic District and to set a new level of excellence in the reuse of historic and old buildings.
